The District of Columbia Home Health Association (DCHHA) is good shape. Almost 98 percent of all members have owned up to their financial responsibilities and 100 percent have committed to a plan to meet their full contributions as set forth by the Executive Board. DCHHA has been actively leading on matters affecting the entire PCA Industry. Although negotiations on the Nursing Rate State Plan Amendment have been delayed in its execution timeframe, we are pleased with the changes that were achieved per our intervention. The new effective date is September 01, 2017. We accept the amendments with the idea that further improvements will need to be made in the months and years to come.

We call on all DCHHA Home Health Agencies to stay alert on the issues and remain engaged through the Association because new developments there will be significant pressures impacting the Home Health Agencies in the near future.
